New Horizons of Minnesota Earns Another ITIL Accreditation
EDINA , Minnesota - May 16, 2006 - New Horizons of Minnesota has just been awarded accreditation as an authorized ITIL education center through the Examination Institute for Information Science (EXIN), based in the Netherlands. Earning this accreditation is a major achievement in the ITIL education world and an important step in growing as an ITIL education provider. The award is only granted to educational providers who meet the highest standards as validated by course instructor qualifications, curriculum standards, facility requirements and success on providing a quality ITIL education program.
New Horizons of Minnesota chose to broaden their accreditation partnerships because they felt EXIN's ability to lead the market by releasing the new clustered ITIL practitioner certification standards speaks directly to their customer base. The company sees these new examinations as highly relevant and desirable. Last summer, EXIN successfully launched the new ITIL Practitioner Release and Control (IPRC) Certification Program based on the ITIL processes Change, Configuration and Release Management. EXIN has also announced another clustered Practitioner Certification, ITIL Practitioner Support and Restore (IPRC) based on the processes of Incident and Problem Management and the Service Desk function. The examination is expected to be released summer of 2006.
"We are very committed to the ITIL community and ensuring we can provide the type of education this maturing community needs and desires", said Kelly Dybvik, ITIL Product Manager for New Horizons of Minnesota. "The ITIL Practitioner represents the bulk of our ITIL education customer base and we feel we need to stay in check with our customers and ensure we can provide the type and high quality of education they have grown to expect from New Horizons of Minnesota. Therefore, earning this accreditation from EXIN tells our customers that we've listened to their needs and taken the necessary steps to stay relevant and meet their very high standards for education providers."
New Horizons of Minnesota has been providing ITIL education for over four years and provides all levels of ITIL accredited education, as well as many custom education services.
