New Horizons of Minnesota Receives the Microsoft U.S. Partner Field Award for Teamwork

EDINA , Minnesota – June 20, 2005 – Microsoft awarded New Horizons of Minnesota the Central Regional U.S. Partner Field Award for Teamwork. The award is the culmination of a year-long partner awards program that Microsoft implemented at the beginning of their fiscal year. All the winners were selected from the previous area- and district-specific winners that they announced at each of their Quarterly Partner Briefings throughout the year, as well as the partners that distinguished themselves in the last quarter of the fiscal year. The awards recognize their best partners that are specific to categories that make a difference for Microsoft’s and their partners’ bottom lines. They stated the primary reason we received this award is because our achievements surpassed our peers in the Central Region over the past year.

“This is a much-deserved honor, and New Horizons of Minnesota has been an incredible partner to work with,” said Marija Bulatovic, a Microsoft Solution Specialist for Learning.
According to Lane Sorgen, Vice President of SMS&P Central Region, the U.S. Partner Field Award for Teamwork will be presented on July 8th during the U.S. Central Region update meeting at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Co-owner Phil Hinderaker couldn’t be more pleased. ” There have been many people that have worked very hard to help earn this award in the Sales, Marketing, Education and Operations department. But these types of awards don’t come without an overall company effort. It was everyone that made this possible.” View Phil accepting his award.

The excitement was echoed by Chief Operating Officer Martin Bean of New Horizons Corporate. “Congratulations to the entire team; this recognition is very much deserved.” Steve Delcarson, Senior Vice President of Global Franchise Operations also complimented the group. “Congratulations, Team New Horizons Minnesota! On behalf of the entire organization, your level of enthusiasm, creativity, innovation and leadership is to be commended.”
