Hovland Achieves ITIL v3 Manager Certification
EDINA, MN – April 9, 2008 – New Horizons of Minnesota instructor, Ron Hovland has accomplished what few others have—he earned his ITIL v3 Manager’s Bridge certification. Hovland is the second New Horizons of Minnesota instructor to become ITIL v3 Manager certified this year. Eric Goodoien passed the exam with distinction in January. CSME and ISEB's announcemaent that Hovland passed his March ‘ITIL v3 Manager’s Certificate in IT Service Management’ exam came today. This is a significant accomplishment considering the high level of difficulty and low pass-rate of the exam. Hovland has over twenty years experience in the IT industry and is ITIL Foundations, Practitioner and Master Certified. He also developed and wrote curriculum for ITIL v3 Foundation and ITIL v3 Foundation Bridge courses.

New Horizons of Minnesota Brings a Fresh Look to Technical Conferences
MINNEAPOLIS, MN – February 27, 2008 – New Horizons of Minnesota drew over 400 participants to its new educational conference in Minneapolis on February 26. TechFuse, a one-day event, aimed to recreate the IT conference image. It provided IT professionals and developers with 200-300 level education on newly released technologies in a fun and fresh way. Participants were able to attend up to four educational sessions from six different technology tracks in addition to the keynote presentation, comedian Robin Getman. During breaks, a game room with Guitar Hero and Halo 3 was available for attendees and food and prizes were plentiful. Keeping in the spirit of fun, a networking cocktail reception followed the event.

Microsoft Chooses New Horizons of Minnesota to Deliver .NET 2008 Beta Teaches
Edina, MN – New Horizons of Minnesota and their instructor, Ron Hovland were asked by Microsoft to deliver beta teaches of their three new .Net 2008 classes following their participation in an alpha review. During a five-week period, New Horizons of Minnesota delivered the three classes with the participants providing feedback directly to Microsoft, on a module by module basis. New Horizons of Minnesota was the only training center involved in the beta teaches. At the end of each of the three classes, Ron Hovland worked directly with the content writers, critiquing the courses, reviewing the student feedback, and helping direct changes to improve the material before its final release.

Goodoien is Among the First to Achieve ITIL v3 Manager Certification
EDINA, MN – February 5, 2008 – New Horizons of Minnesota instructor, Eric Goodoien is among the first in the state to become ITIL v3 Manager certified. CSME and ISEB announced today that Goodoien passed his January 25 ‘ITIL v3 Manager’s Certificate in IT Service Management’ exam with distinction. This is a significant accomplishment considering the high level of difficulty and low pass-rate of the exam. Goodoien has over 18 years experience in the IT industry and along with writing and delivering several custom ITIL classes, he has achieved his ITIL v2 Manager Certification.
