Account Executive

The World's Largest Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, VMware, PMI and EC Council Partner for Learning Solutions is looking for Inside Sales reps to work with our Business to Business Account Executives to sell IT, Leadership/Development and Project Management training/certification to companies, government agencies and branches of the military.

New Horizons of Minnesota has a beautiful classroom training facility and a satellite location in Plymouth. We provide technology and business skills training/certification to companies who are in need of increasing employee productivity and proficiency within their organizations. We offer traditional instructor-led classroom training, live remote instructor led training over the internet, onsite/private training and customized training/consulting.

We have won awards for quality of delivery and best in service. Our proven technology training model is coveted by companies and organizations worldwide which generates leads for our B2B Account Executives.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales goal
  • Follow proven metrics to establish and grow account base and report daily on individual results
  • Prospecting and phone cold calling
  • Maintaining repeat-customer long-term relationships
  • Providing customers with tailored solutions unique to their specific needs
  • Offering ongoing excellent customer service
  • Continual product training and employment development

Requirements:

  • Excellent clear and positive communication skills
  • Experience cold calling on the phone; ability to make 80 calls per day
  • Strong work ethic, great attitude, flexibility and ownership mindedness
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong sales pipeline
  • Outstanding problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to sell in a team environment
  • Proven sales experience preferred but college graduates are encouraged to also apply

Enterprise Account Executive

We offer traditional instructor-led classroom training, live remote instructor led training over the internet, onsite/private training and customized training options.

The ideal candidate is upbeat, driven, well-organized, has a passion for technology and is stimulated by working in a fast-paced environment. The Enterprise Account Executive is responsible for representing New Horizons and engaging with our Enterprise market. This is a high-touch, in person, rapport-building position that requires strong communication skills (both verbal and written), as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion to give our clients the personal attention required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Meets or exceeds established monthly sales quota.
  2. Conduct face to face meetings including presentations, webinars and product demonstrations over the phone.
  3. Establish and strengthen relationships at multiple levels within client organizations.
  4. Maintain and grow revenue from existing client accounts by identifying and leveraging opportunities for organic growth and market share acquisition.
  5. Identify and prospect new accounts, channels of distribution and opportunities to develop into new and incremental business.
  6. Closes sales by building rapport with potential clients, expounding on the benefits of our solutions and service capabilities; overcoming objections, etc.
  7. Call on existing and prospective customers, build business relationships, create demand, communicate benefits, and prepare proposals and quotes within company guidelines.
  8. Consistently demonstrate cross-functional partnership and collaboration with internal departments including operations, finance, and training.
  9. Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of account files including account profiles, order agreements, event requests, and account management tools as developed, using the CRM system.
  10. Analyze and utilize data for in-depth evaluation of accounts to recognize revenue opportunities and drive sales.
  11. Network with key contacts outside your own area of expertise to become industry expert.
  12. Establish and maintain high retention rates and high level of customer satisfaction by exceeding customer expectations and by being the primary escalation point and internal advocate for client issues.
  13. Recommends new solutions and services by evaluating current solutions, identifying needs to be filled.
  14. Any other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1. Self-confidence, positive attitude, solid work ethic and a strong desire to succeed.
  2. Preferred: 5 + years of highly successful sales experience in a field sales environment
  3. Effective closing skills, preferably in business-to-business field sales.
  4. Demonstrated ability to influence through relationships, expertise and information.
  5. Excellent presentation skills with the ability to adjust your message to suit the audience.
  6. High degree of flexibility and ability to adapt to change.
  7. Knowledge of Microsoft Office needed.
  8. Excellent communication, written, and oral skills.
  9. Has worked previously with a CRM.
  10. Had sold in an environment that managed to Forecasts and Pipelines.
  11. Has strong sense of business acumen.
  12. Valid Driver’s License and Insurance.

Experience and Skills

  • At least 2 years of successful Business to Consumer sales experience in-person and over the phone.
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • Ability to grasp information necessary to sell computer training
  • Gain a complete and ongoing understanding of the products, programs, certifications and classes available to the prospects
  • Manage the prospect database through proper procedures regarding follow-up calls, prospect status and account ownership.
